Well she is!

She is a literal Mary Sue, and her fan base only exemplifies this fact.
She is the same copy-paste "Smart, Beautiful, rich, mature, leader, caring, compassionate, kind, down-to-earth" girl that is shoved into every story, and every fanfiction that we all hate.
She is built up and idealized as the perfect woman, and we all know it.

What really irks me however is not just the fact she is A Mary sue, but the fact that her Mary-sue-ness only serves to ruin the fandom that I like.

She continually derails the main character that I like, changing him from the fun and free-going hero into a drama-loving lapdog.
She derails the entire plot of the comic as well, taking the plot off the focus of the battle, the problems, and the action of the story and placing it on her and her romance. *The world can wait anybody?*
The fact that she also gets away with everything is pretty bad too.
She Slaps Sonic out of selfishness and possessiveness; the very traits she has that makes her incompatible with the main character btw, and what happens?
We pretend it never happened and she just ups and get's back with him again... as if Sonic the hedgehog is the type of personality that would USUALLY take that type of crap without future hesitation or anger? Really?
She also takes up all the focus from all the other characters in the book too.
Tails for example is shunted sideways in favor of Sally being by Sonic's side all the way.
Despite what in the comic Sonic had said before on the topic:

There is also Mina who was literally shot down and then pushed out of the main plot almost completely.
I'm not even mentioning Amy further becasue we all know about THAT can of worms in relation to her treatment in favor of Sally Sue here.

I didn't mean to make this rant, but yeah. This character is annoying, and she is a Mary Sue despite opposition to this.

Sigh... I need cake.
